Rob – Just a note to let you know I recieved the windows and moved them into the lodge by way of snow machine and sled.  I unpacked them and all of them made the trip with no damage at all.  Great job on shipping and all your help.  I will send photos of both my progress and hopefully a kill taken from the new blind system this coming fall.  Thanks for all your help…..Mike

Rob – Here is the new blind on 32 inch legs and steelroof on.  It is seven miles behind my lodge and will be staged until I can get back in this summer to jack it 12 feet into the air and put a six leg tower stand under it.  Am shooting for July to fininsh and install the windows.             Thanks…..Mike

Lars, thanks again for calling.  I have attached a couple pictures of deer I’ve taken from your windows this season and last season.

I’ll say that it was your windows that drew in these two biggest bucks on our lease…well there were the two largest bucks taken last year and so far this year and they were shot through your windows.  Actually, everyone on our lease is very impressed with the windows you made for me.  The ‘coolest’ thing is that you can take them completely out of the frames with no sound and enjoy the feeling of sitting out in the open.

Hey Rob thanks for taking the time to talk with me on the phone the other day. I look forward to working with you on the Team Southern Deer Stands Pro Staff for 2011..Thanks again and here is a little bit about me. My full name is Steven Edward Squiller and i was borne in Zion Illinois in 1968. I started fishing at age 3 with my Grandfather,father and uncle when we use to come up to Eagle River,Wisconsin on the weekends and for a few weeks in the spring,summer,fall and winter.I believe it was about 1971 when my grandma and grandpa bought a little 2 bedroom cabin on catfish lake in Eagle River.I can remember spending alot of time at the cabin getting fire wood and helping my grandpa fix up the place. Then in the evening we use to walk down to the lake and get in our old row boat and row troll for walleye and muskie.In the fall we use to go out bird hunting and my uncle and dad use to take me gun deer hunting. We moved to Eagle River in 1977 and 2 years  later after watching Fred Bear and others on tv bow hunting i got a bow.I also started to do some bass fishing which later on became my favorite species to fish for..I shot my bow alot during the summer and all fall,when i turned 12 i got my hunter safety and started bow and gun hunting.I shot a doe that fall with the bow and have been hooked ever since.After high school i worked in a archery shop for 3 years selling bows and setting up bows and custom arrows.I have been hunting for 29 years now with both gun and bow and am very grateful to have raised 3 kids in the woods and on the water,giving them the experience i had as a kid growing up.
